3. Kodaikanal Solar Observatory
- Located at the southern tip of the Palni Hills in Tamilnadu,it is among the only two observatories in the world which has over 100 years of data on the Sun and its influence on the Earth ans surrounding space.
4. Udaipur Solar Observatory
- In the middle of Fathesagar lake , this observatory is strategically placed to reduce the amount of heat from the surface layer which result in batter image quality.
